I am on the lookout for authors who would like to be part of a new fortnightly podcast series I’m putting together. The name says it all really: “Conversations with Authors” is a series of relaxed interviews I’m doing with published authors to discover why they write, how they get published and what tips they want to pass on to other aspiring authors.
My aim is to provide plenty of information for writers on the writing, editing and publishing process. Ultimately I’d like to put together a book of the interviews, and possibly an audio CD too.
So what’s in it for you? Well as well as getting a nice warm feeling from helping out other authors, you can promote your books and you’ll also get a copy of the interview to share however you like, as well as the transcript. I’ll also include all your details, including website, Amazon links and social media accounts, on my website.
The first podcast will be available within the next couple of weeks and is with the marvellous Peter Jones, author of How to Do Everything and Be Happy, amongst other things. I have twelve interviews lined up, but have spaces to fill from October onwards. So if you have written and published a book (either traditionally or self-published), or you know someone who has, and you’d like to be involved, please get in touch!
